Lightning is so damn random. You have no idea where it’s gonna go. It’s crazy, it’s kind of like electrical craziness all wrapped up into the atmosphere. But I have a phobia of storms which doesn’t help me =(
Wrestlemania Review
April 2, 2007 · Leave a Comment
Here is my very excited review of Wrestlemania 23 from Sunday
1st Match: MITB won by Mr. Kennedy: Oh man. What a match. A giant spot fest as predicted but it was performed so well. It started off with the traditional stare downs on top of the ladder with Edge going up first. Then it went into a spot frenzy with everyone doing their trademark moves. A RKO off the ladder. A celtic cross onto a ladder. A book-end off a ladder. A freakin Lambeau Leap to Hornswaggle off the large ladder and easily the best spot I’ve seen in years: a leg drop by Jeff Hardy off the tallest of the ladders in the ring to Edge on top of a ladder outside the ring. The ladder broke in half. I’m sure Edge broke in half. I applaud them both for taking that bump. In the end, it was the heavy favorites: Kennedy and CM Punk battling off in the finals. It ended well with Kennedy outsmarting the face Punk and winning. I applaud his effort and I know he will take this win and run with it since he’s truly passionate about the sport. 4 stars
2nd match: MVP vs Chris Benoit for US Championship: A great technical match up. MVP proved he can handle working with a great mat wrestler in the biggest match of his career. He really came out the best in this match and I think that was the whole point of the match in the first place. So good job by Benoit putting him over. 3 stars
3rd match: Great Khalil vs Kane-Eh. Not a stellar match but it worked for what it was. The best part of the match easily was Kane slamming Khalil ala Hogan slamming Andre at WMIII. A moment to remember but otherwise a match to forget. 2 stars
4th match: Batista vs the Undertaker for the WHC-They really tried to steal the night and almost did. The match was awesome. Easily Batista’s best match in years and Undertaker was his usual awesomeness. The entrance by Undertaker was breathtaking per usual and the moment where he was standing in the doorway with his shadow sent shivers down my spine. A solid match with great psychology, and an awesome spot with Batista powerslamming Undertaker into the announcer table and close-falls all over. In the end, Batista got Tombstone-d and Undertaker is 15-0 and champion. Awesome. But it wasn’t the last match which pissed me off. 4 stars
5th match: The New Breed vs the ECW Originals- badly booked matches shouldn’t happen at Wrestlemania, especially after well-booked feuds. This was a horrible match but to be expected since only one of the participants had been in Wrestlemania previously(RVD). It’s good that the Originals won and even better that RVD got a pin but I (and I’m sure a lot of people) would have wished for a better match. Didn’t help that the crowd was dead for it either. 1 and a half stars
6th match: Hair vs Hair Battle of the Billionaires: Bobby Lashley vs Umaga-If I could rate this match with entertainment included, I’d give it a 3 and a half but I can’t and the match sucked. It was anti-climatic considering I knew Lashley would win. But the Trump takedown of Vince was funny. Austin, in general, carried the match with his antics. Pulling Lashley and Umaga away. Stunning Vince after the match. Stunning Trump after the match which made me MTFO. And shaving Vince bald. Vince sold it well too. 2 stars for the match, 3 and a half including entertainment.
7th match: Melina Perez vs Ashley Massaro for the WWE Women’s Championship-Possibly the worst women’s Wrestlemania match I’ve seen in years. It was horrible. Melina is a solid worker but Ashley is horrrrrrrrrrrible. Ugh. And the lumber-jills served no purpose but rushing in for a pointless catfight afterwards. Just horrible. I hope Ashley never wrestles again. DUD
8th and final match: HBK vs John Cena for the WWE Championship: Even though I gripe that this should have not been the last match considering Undertaker won the Royal Rumble, is the most popular wrestler, and had a better match imo, I understand why this was last. A really meh entrance by Cena, breaking through glass with a muscle car. HBK looked great wrestling-wise, I wanted him to win so bad in mark terms. They both put their hearts into the match. The pile-driver on the stairs was awesome. The countless reversals into the f-u, scm, and stfu were awesome. The psychology was awesome. The showdowns were awesome. HBK tapping out…was not awesome. I’d rather him be pinned then tap out to a horrible submission he just broke out of earlier. It cheapened the victory in my eyes. The crowd was almost dead when he won. Great match, not the best ending. 3 and a half stars
Overall, it was a better pay-per-view live then it was on paper. People poured their hearts out in the main events. It was epic but not perfect.

Fruit Punch Drink

Fruit punch drink might seriously be the most underrated beverage in the world. Mmm… Just had some for a late-night treat. Even though my days are getting rather monotonous lately, I still find time to enjoy the tasty goodies in life. No doubt that fruit punch drink is one of them. Coming in at a close second is orange drink, from the same people, ironically. Mucho tasty-o

It’s good to see a tree…

I look outside and I see trees. Glorious trees. I had forgotten what they look like after being in Downtown Milwaukee for so long. I’m talking about real trees, not those fake ass small trees near Lake Michigan. I have three trees in my backyard. All three of them must be 20 stories high at least. They are gigantic. Perfect for monkeys. I love monkeys. Except for when they throw poop.

Wrestlemania Preview
March 29, 2007 · Leave a Comment
It seems that the card for Wrestlemania has been set. It looks good this year, 3 main events, a couple bad ones and the dark house MITB. I think ill look at the matches this year and see what I think is gonna happen.
WHC Match: Batista vs the Undertaker-Main event. I am so looking forward to this match as the buildup has been excellent. I’m scared though. Undertake could lose. I don’t think he is and it’d be the worse decision of all time if he does consider Batista’s pops aren’t that big and have dwindled of late but…who knows. Undertaker will carry.
WWE Championship: John Cena vs Shawn Michaels-Easily the best setup to a feud in years. Awesome psychology, great promos (by HBK), great ring encounters. I hope HBK wins but John Cena might win to be pushed to Saturn since he’s already past the moon.
WWE Women’s Championship: Ashley Massaro vs Melina Perez-Oh goodness. Snore. Melina is decent in the ring and awesome with heel tatics but…Ashley…Ashley…Ashley. It has a potential to be horrible or mediocre. It won’t wow.
Battle of the Billionaires: Lashley vs Umaga: The push will be greater then the match. However, the crowd will be in it with all the star power involved. Lashley is destined to win though it will be close. Lashley will either get a pop he’s never gotten before or a barely-caring pop which might determine his future.
WWE United States Championship: Montell Vontavious Porter vs Chris Benoit-Kind of a random push but it may work. MVP has improved significantly and can cut a decent promo now. Chris Benoit has uber respect and can pull a great match out of anyone. Will be better then expected.
Khali vs Kane: Either gonna be boring or exciting. I’m betting for the former. Kane is good but Khali is too stiff in the ring unless he has changed signficantly
New Breed vs Originals: I’m not sure. If it was extreme rules , it’d be more intriguing to me. With that said, it will be a solid match as long as RVD and Burke carry.
MITB Match: Will steal the show as always. 8 men. Rivalries. Partnerships. Ladders…and ladders….and ladders…oh my. I expect Finlay, CM, Kennedy and Booker to sell their butts off. Ultimately i don’t know who will win. It most likely will be either CM Punk or Kennedy. We’ll see…
I expect WMXXIII to be a great show. I seriously suggest watching it or catching the replay as it will be epic in front of 70,000 fans.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches

These sandwiches are really the shiznit. Tasty goodness in every bite. Takes 2 minutes to make and is healthy for you too. Holy crap, this is food at its best. There is nothing like watching the Daily Show, eating healthy goodness and being alive. Grilled cheese sandwiches are tasty too but takes longer to make so I stick with this for now. Hehe

This is my first post and I never was good with introductions so I would like to welcome you to my utter randomness. I will generally add more and more of the random things that I observe and run into. Sometimes it will be philosophical rants, or posts about wrestling shows, or just something I see that bothers me. I’m not sure. I hope you enjoy though
